Calendar days without daylight-saving surprises
The calculator uses Gregorian calendar dates, with no time of day. Days are counted in UTC calendar arithmetic rather than by local daylight-saving clock changes. Dates are shown in ISO year-month-day format to avoid confusion between month-first and day-first conventions.
An exclusive difference from October 1 to October 2 is one day. Inclusive counting includes both dates and gives two days; a same-day range gives one. Reversed ranges are reported as negative counts, with the direction explained beside the result.
Adding days counts every calendar day, including weekends and holidays. This is not a business-day calculator and does not apply country-specific holiday rules. Valid dates between years 1 and 9999 are supported; impossible dates and results outside that range are rejected.

Frequently asked questions
Is this tool free without daily usage limits?
Yes. Varento Tools has no signup, accounts, usage-count caps, paywalls or watermarks. Device memory, format support and browser restrictions can still limit technically demanding files.
Are weekends included?
Yes. All calendar days are counted. There is no business-day or public-holiday adjustment.
Are leap years supported?
Yes. Gregorian leap-year rules are used when validating dates and adding days.
What does inclusive mean?
Both endpoints count. A range from Monday to Tuesday contains two dates, although the elapsed date difference is one day.
Does my timezone change the answer?
No. These are date-only calendar calculations, not elapsed hours between two timestamps.
