Tap the image, or enter a pixel coordinate below.

How to use Image Color Picker

  1. Choose a PNG, JPG or WebP image.
  2. Tap a pixel in the preview or enter its X and Y coordinates.
  3. Read and copy the HEX, RGB, HSL and alpha result.

Image output and practical limits

The image is decoded locally and drawn at native resolution. Tap the preview or enter exact zero-based pixel coordinates for keyboard-accessible selection. Values describe the decoded pixel, not the original file’s compressed bytes.

Display colour management can affect appearance. Transparent pixels include alpha; a six-digit HEX value alone cannot represent transparency.

Frequently asked questions

Is this tool free without daily usage limits?

Yes. Varento Tools has no signup, accounts, usage-count caps, paywalls or watermarks. Device memory, format support and browser restrictions can still limit technically demanding files.

Are coordinates measured from the top-left?

Yes. X=0, Y=0 is the upper-left pixel. Coordinates refer to native image pixels, even when the preview is scaled to fit your screen.

Is my input uploaded?

No. This tool processes your input in the current browser tab and does not send it to a processing server.

What are the practical limits?

Display colour management can affect appearance. Transparent pixels include alpha; a six-digit HEX value alone cannot represent transparency.
