How the result is calculated
Dates are treated as calendar days without a time of day. The tool counts complete years, then complete months, then remaining days, clamping end-of-month anniversaries to the last valid day. Total elapsed days are also shown.
For a February 29 birth, this calendar calculation uses February 28 in a non-leap year. Legal age rules can differ; this is not an eligibility determination.
