Image output and practical limits
Choose contain to preserve the whole image with padding, or cover to crop the centre to a square. Download 16, 32, 48, 180 and 192 pixel PNGs plus an ICO containing 16, 32 and 48 pixel PNG images.
Tiny icons lose detail. ICO PNG entries work in modern browsers; this is not a complete installable-app manifest or a guarantee for legacy software.

A simple high-contrast mark with generous spacing is easier to recognize at tiny sizes than detailed text or a photograph. Use the smallest export to judge the design.
