Resize Images Online
Resize JPG, PNG and WebP images to exact pixel dimensions. Keep their proportions, process a batch and compare the output before downloading.

Choose images
Select multiple files for a batch. Choosing again replaces the current selection.
With the lock on, every image uses the chosen width and its own proportions.
How to resize an image
- Choose one or more JPG, PNG or WebP images.
- Enter a width or height in pixels. Leave Keep aspect ratio enabled to avoid stretching.
- For an exact rectangle, disable the aspect-ratio lock and enter both dimensions.
- Resize the images, check the reported dimensions and save individual results or a ZIP.
Resize pixels, not just the file label
This tool redraws each image at your requested pixel dimensions. It is useful for website pictures, email attachments and uploads that require a particular width or height. It does not merely edit the DPI metadata. When a batch contains different proportions, the width is used with each image’s own ratio while the lock is enabled.
Shrinking reduces the number of pixels and can also reduce file size. Enlarging interpolates existing pixels; it cannot recover detail that the original never contained. If a service requires a square picture without distortion, crop the picture first rather than stretching it.
Output keeps the selected input format. PNG and WebP can retain transparent pixels; JPG cannot. Encoding can affect metadata and colour profiles, so keep an original copy for print or archival use. Browser memory and canvas dimensions impose technical limits, which are checked before export.

Privacy and browser support
Your input is handled in this browser tab. Selected files and entered text are not sent to Varento Tools by this tool. Some specialized libraries load only when needed. A browser with JavaScript and sufficient device memory is required. Read our local-processing explanation.

Frequently asked questions
Is this tool free without daily usage limits?
Yes. Varento Tools has no signup, accounts, usage-count caps, paywalls or watermarks. Device memory, format support and browser restrictions can still limit technically demanding files.
How do I avoid stretching?
Keep the aspect-ratio option on. The missing dimension is calculated from the image proportions.
Can I resize to a specific file size?
This tool targets pixel dimensions, not an exact byte count. Use Compress Image afterwards and compare the actual file size.
Does increasing the size improve quality?
No. It makes a larger raster image without adding original detail.
What happens to a mixed-size batch?
With the ratio lock on, each image uses the chosen width and its own aspect ratio. Turn the lock off only when every image should have the same exact rectangle.
