How to extract pages from a PDF

  1. Choose the source PDF.
  2. Enter physical page numbers or ranges, such as 1, 3-5.
  3. Extract the pages. Every selected page becomes a separate PDF.
  4. Download individual pages or package the results in a ZIP.

Separate files for the pages you need

Extract PDF Pages creates one independent PDF for each selected page. It is useful for splitting a packet into individual pages, sending a single form page, or organizing a scan. It does not change or delete content in the original file.

For one new document containing several chosen pages, use Split PDF instead. Both tools select by physical page position, starting at 1. Duplicate selections are removed and pages are processed in source order. Invalid page expressions and numbers outside the document are reported as errors.

Each output copies the selected page rather than rendering it into an image. Visible text and vector artwork stay as PDF page content where present. Document-level bookmarks, forms, signatures, accessibility tags and attachments are not guaranteed to survive page copying. Keep originals and review extracted files when those features matter.

Frequently asked questions

Is this tool free without daily usage limits?

Yes. Varento Tools has no signup, accounts, usage-count caps, paywalls or watermarks. Device memory, format support and browser restrictions can still limit technically demanding files.

How is this different from Split PDF?

Extract creates separate one-page files. Split creates one combined PDF from the selected pages.

Can I download every page?

Yes. Enter the full range for the document, for example 1-10 for a ten-page PDF.

Does extraction remove pages from the source?

No. The source stays unchanged; new documents are created.

Are the files flattened into images?

No. The operation copies PDF page content. It does not add OCR or guarantee document-level features.
