    How to merge PDF files

    1. Choose two or more PDF documents.
    2. Use the up/down buttons to set the file order.
    3. Select Merge PDFs and wait for the combined document.
    4. Download the PDF and review its page order.

Join pages in the order you choose

Merging copies pages from each selected PDF into one new document. All pages from the first file come before all pages from the next file. Use Split PDF or Extract PDF Pages beforehand if you only want part of a source document.

Page dimensions and the visible page content are normally retained. A page-copy merge is not a full document-preservation workflow: document-level bookmarks, interactive forms, accessibility tags, signatures and attachments may not be preserved. Editing signed documents can invalidate their signatures. Check the result if those features matter.

Processing happens locally after a PDF library loads on demand. There is no daily merge count or watermark, but large documents require browser memory. Password-protected and damaged PDFs can fail to open. Keep the source documents and review the merged copy before using it in a formal or archival workflow.

Need only part of the combined document? Use Split PDF.

    Privacy and browser support

Your input is handled in this browser tab. Selected files and entered text are not sent to Varento Tools by this tool. Some specialized libraries load only when needed. A browser with JavaScript and sufficient device memory is required. Read our local-processing explanation.

    Frequently asked questions

Is this tool free without daily usage limits?

Yes. Varento Tools has no signup, accounts, usage-count caps, paywalls or watermarks. Device memory, format support and browser restrictions can still limit technically demanding files.

    Can I change the order?

Yes. Use the up/down controls before merging. Pages inside each file keep their source order.

Can I merge only selected pages?

This tool merges complete files. Create a smaller document with Split PDF first, then merge that output.

    Are bookmarks and forms preserved?

Do not rely on it. The merge copies pages, not every document-level feature. Review documents with forms, bookmarks, tags or signatures carefully.

    Are PDFs uploaded?

No. The PDF library processes selected bytes in this browser tab. Its code loads from a CDN, without your PDF attached to the request.
